It has dense clumps with thick walled culms and glossy green culms. It can be used for screening, features, or timber. The culms are near solid, and due to their strength they make great fishing poles. It has a very tight clumping species with slightly weeping tops. The fine leaves give it a beautiful look and it’s good for landscaping and hedging.
